Common Guillemot mug

Hand-made sgraffito Common Guillemot mug (5 bird design) - bring some seabirds and joy to your hot drinks!

All my ceramics are hand thrown on a pottery wheel. This design was achieved using sgraffito technique. After creating the basic form of the ceramic on the wheel and attaching a handle, I apply coloured slip. Following this, I carve my designs into the clay, in a similar manner to lino print making.

All my pieces are hand made by myself, so they are all slightly different and unique! The photos show an example of the design, each mug looks slightly different.
